Never in a million ... let’s make that a billion years did I think I would ever start a blog... in fact, the mere thought of writing, in general, makes me break out in a cold sweat!
But after so many years in the design industry, I have decided that it is time to write and blog,
as I have so much to share.
I have spent over 20 years of my life as a bra and corsetry designer, garment developer and have worked all over the world in this field. I trained in Sydney, Australia, initially in fashion design and patternmaking and much later I retrained in graphic design.
During my time in the industry, I have worked in many different areas of design that have given me a unique and diverse set of skills.
Some of my skills are ...
graphic design, illustration both conceptual and technical, textile designer, embroidery designer, garment design, and more specifically underwear and bra designer, patternmaking, garment fitting, and managing the garment development process,
from concept to production - ready garments. This is just a short recap of my industry skills.
Non career me...
I’m an animal lover, I love growing vegetables, would move back to the country at the drop of a hat, and cannot wait till the day I can fulfill this dream of returning to my farmer girl origins!
I am and have always been totally horse crazy.
In fact, should I have a blood test, I’m sure it would show that genetically I am part palomino quarterhorse, warmblood, cross Shetland pony!
My first ever pony was a Shetland pony named Jock, many years later there is my number one
paddock ornament... translated this means my retired horse Comries Kuramin AKA: Min and my other not retired horse Vivaldi’s Symphony AKA: Smudge, also known as mare face and known as
the general paddock boss of everything in the horse paddocks!

If you would like to pop on over to this blog from time to time, I will be sharing my experiences from the industry, my inspiration and sometimes I’ll probably get completely off track and share a bunch of horse photos!
It's hard not to be inspired when you live and work somewhere as beautiful as this.
Welcome to my blogging journey!
