I’m Judy, founder, designer at DesignMotiv

…artist, illustrator and surface pattern designer creating print and pattern for all surfaces.  My creative cocoon is based on the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney, NSW surrounded by an abundance of inspiration from local beaches, nearby wildflower gardens, and national parks.

My art style and inspiration…

I borrow from the master of artistry herself… no one does it like mother nature!  It’s easy to create from her abundance of natural beauty and knack for combining colours.  

 

From this inspiration, I create elegantly playful designs, full of colour and flowers, with a few bugs, butterflies, and the odd spider thrown in for good measure. 

 

My unique designs are perfect for beautifying textiles, fashion, stationery homewares, and well…any surface that needs decoration.

 

My studio provides a design collaboration service, for those wishing to have bespoke prints designed for their brand.  Alongside print-ready designs, which can be purchased for immediate use.
